It has been one week since i arrived at cu. Most of things have settle down and finally I am able to think about my PhD, for which i come here.
Sometimes, i feel i am already a qualified researcher on cv, and only need more time to prove myself. If it is true, the way to my PhD is also the way to prove myself in research. Otherwise, my job in the next 4,5,or 6 years is to make myself a qualified researcher. In either case, what i should do is to accomplish some solid achievements.
So, never stop thinking about your research.
About the courses, basically, taking courses (5 core, 5 elective) is the requirement. Two criterias for choosing courses: value and time. So, I will never take the core courses, but only attend the comprehensive exams. For the elective courses, I will choose the related ones. It is best if I can complete all the courses in 3 semesters.
So, my study plan is:
Semester 1: 2 elective courses + 1 core course exam
Semester 2: 1 elective courses + 2 core course exam + 1 TA
Semester 3: 1/2 elective course + 2 core course exam + 1 TA
Semester 4: 0/1 elective course + Candidacy exam
+ 1 solid research result or proposal
...
Semester 6: Qualified to graduate
In the first three semesters, I should keep at least 50% time for researching.
An aggressive plan, but it is possible

Tonight, I will try the so-called Panda, located at 124st, broadway. Please update you soon when come back.
//I am coming back...
Panda Chinese restaurant is located on broadway, south of 124st. I ordered a Gongbaojiding for 4.65$. It tastes good, at least for me! Liuwei ordered a ChaoHeFen for 5.25$. They provide a meal plan of 15 meal/55$. I think it can be a good choice.
